Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 13, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern purchases made through the Lamonko online store and the rights and obligations between the seller and the customer.

1. Seller

The seller and operator of the Lamonko online store is:

Purisain s.r.o.
Trading as: Lamonko
Company ID (IČO): 238 78 398
Registered office: Příčná 1892/4, Nové Město, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic
Email: hello@lamonko.com

Purisain s.r.o. sells food products and sweeteners based on monk fruit, including liquid monk fruit infusion and monk fruit powder.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Where the customer is a consumer residing in another EU Member State and Lamonko directs its activities to that country, this choice of law does not deprive the consumer of mandatory consumer protection rights applicable under the laws of their country of habitual residence.

2. Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in EUR or, where applicable, in the local currency shown on the relevant version of the store.

Purisain s.r.o. is not currently registered for VAT. VAT is therefore not charged unless otherwise required by applicable law.

The total price of the order, including any applicable delivery charges and other costs, is shown before the customer places the order.

Payments are processed through Stripe using the payment methods available at checkout, which may include payment cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

3. Orders and Contract Formation

Customers place orders through the Lamonko online store and have the opportunity to review and correct their order details before submitting the order.

A purchase contract is formed when the order is accepted and confirmed by Lamonko by email.

Lamonko may decline or cancel an order in the event of product unavailability, an obvious pricing or product-description error, suspected misuse of the store or another legitimate reason preventing fulfilment.

If payment has already been made for a cancelled order, the amount paid will be refunded without undue delay.

4. Delivery

Goods are delivered to countries for which delivery is offered at checkout.

Available delivery methods, delivery charges and estimated delivery times are displayed before the order is submitted.

Standard delivery normally takes approximately 2–5 business days, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Orders are delivered by DHL or another courier selected by the seller.

For consumer purchases, the risk of loss or damage passes to the consumer when the consumer, or a person designated by them, receives the goods, unless otherwise provided by applicable law.

5. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 days from the date on which they receive the goods, subject to the exceptions provided by applicable law.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must clearly inform Lamonko of their decision, for example by email or through any withdrawal function made available on the website.

The consumer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after communicating the withdrawal.

Unless otherwise provided by applicable law or agreed by Lamonko, the consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.

Lamonko will reimburse payments received from the consumer, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after being informed of the withdrawal.

Lamonko may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received back or the consumer provides evidence that they have returned the goods, whichever occurs first.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

The consumer is responsible only for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.

Sealed food products

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods supplied in sealed packaging which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken, where the statutory conditions for this exception are satisfied.

Lamonko food products may be supplied with a tamper-evident protective seal. Where this seal has been removed, broken or otherwise compromised so that the product can be opened, the product may no longer qualify for the 14-day change-of-mind return.

Damage solely to the external shipping packaging does not by itself remove the consumer's right of withdrawal.

This exception does not affect the consumer's statutory rights where the product is defective, damaged, contaminated or otherwise does not conform to the purchase contract.

6. Complaints and Defective Goods

Lamonko is responsible for supplying goods that conform to the purchase contract and comply with applicable consumer law.

Consumers have statutory rights in relation to defective or non-conforming goods. These rights are not affected by the 14-day withdrawal provisions above.

When assessing a food product, its nature, minimum durability or use-by date, storage requirements and instructions for use may be relevant.

A complaint can be submitted by contacting Lamonko by email.

To help us process the complaint efficiently, customers are encouraged to provide:

  • their order number,
  • identification of the product,
  • a description of the problem, and
  • photographs where relevant.

Lamonko may request the return of the product where reasonably necessary to assess the complaint.

Proof of purchase may be requested, but the customer may demonstrate the purchase by any reasonable means.

Valid complaints will be handled without undue delay and within the period required by applicable consumer law.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, available remedies may include replacement, repair where appropriate, a price reduction or termination of the contract and refund.

Breaking the protective seal does not prevent a consumer from exercising statutory rights relating to a genuinely defective or non-conforming product.

7. Alternative Dispute Resolution

Customers are encouraged to contact Lamonko first so that any dispute can be resolved directly.

As Purisain s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, the competent Czech alternative dispute resolution body for applicable consumer disputes is:

Czech Trade Inspection Authority
(Česká obchodní inspekce – ČOI)

Central Inspectorate – ADR Department
Gorazdova 1969/24
120 00 Prague 2
Czech Republic
Email: adr@coi.gov.cz
Website: coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr/

Consumers involved in a cross-border dispute within the EU may also seek assistance from the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net).

8. Privacy

Information about how Lamonko processes personal data is provided separately in our Privacy Policy.

9. Final Provisions

These Terms & Conditions are made available to customers before an order is placed.

Lamonko may amend these Terms from time to time. The version applicable to an order is the version in force when the purchase contract is concluded.

If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

These Terms & Conditions are effective from August 13, 2026.
